New Church at Sussex Avenue, Spring Lane, Canterbury.

Construction of a new church, dedicated to Bertha the Queen, with pew space for a congregation of about 100. The church was constructed and opened in 1961. The opening ceremony was held on 30^th September 1961, and the dedication was made by Dr Michael Ramsey, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who walked in procession from the adjoining vicarage to the newly-built church.
